What an amazing weekend! Most of you already know that we won the Semi-Finals of Club Wars, and are finally headed to the finals. The tentative date is Aug. 8th @ Crosstown Station. When we know more, you will too.
Friday April 24th was amazing! Thanks to all of you that came out to support BRS. We love you guys, and definitely have something in the works to thank you on a more personal level.
Saturday April 25th in Des Moines, IA @ the House of Bricks was probably one of the best days for the BRS crew. What a great turn out! We played for close to 200 people, and we opened the entire show up @ 5:30 PM! Des Moines really knows how to treat a band. Our brothers in Isaac James and Junk Poet were stellar, as was ADD, Redline Chemistry and Suicide Angels. It was great meeting all of you, musicians and fans alike, and we hope to see you guys soon.
May 22nd BRS will be performing live with Seasons of Pain, Watching The Coroner and Sinfrastructure @ Harrah's Voodoo Lounge. We've taken the opening spot. We have $5.00 tickets for sale, so get a hold of us ASAP!

That's right, Kansas City! We have advanced to the semi-finals of this spring's Club Wars!
Thank you so much for coming out to support us! It was the most amazing night for every member of this band. Let's do it again April 24th!
Also, we will be performing live this Sat. in support of Twilight 2 DAWN. The show will be featuring Isaac James (ft. Joel Ekman, Stone Sour), us, Forever Greye and Dora Dank.

I know, it's been awhile since www.blackribbonsky.com has gotten a facelift, but better late than never, right?
I just started working on this design yesterday, so please bear with me as I get each page online. The media section will eventually have music, photos, videos, wallpaper and other misc. items. Definitely check back often to see if there's anything new!

That's right! We've decided to enter Club Wars, and we REALLY need your help and votes so that we can advance to the semi-finals. Our goal is to win the opening spot for 98.9 The Rock's Freaker's Ball! Come out to The Uptown Theater on Friday, March 13th @ 7:00 PM and show Jim Kilroy and the other judges the force BRS and our fans have become!

| A QUICK UPDATE... |
Hey folks.. just wanted to stop in and bring everyone up to date with the going ons of BRS.
As most of you already know, Rob Couch has left BRS. It was a mutual split, and we wish him all the best in his newest endeavor!
Other news:
Our CD is almost completed... finally! The artwork is 80% done, and the songs are almost all finished. Once we get this thing mastered, expect a release show!
